1)그는 어떤 형편에 놓이더라도 자족하며 감사한다. 비천할 때도 감사, 풍부할 때도 감사, 가난해도, 부유해도 감사드린다. 오늘 우리가 찬양 드린 <날 구원하신 주 감사>의 가사가 그러하다.

1)He is content and thankful no matter what his circumstances are. He is thankful when he is humble, thankful when he is rich, thankful when he is poor or rich. The lyrics of <Thank You, Lord, for Saving Me> are like that.

“1)날 구원하신 주 감사 모든 것 주심 감사/지난 추억 인해 감사 주 내 곁에 계시네/향기로운 봄철에 감사 외로운 가을 날 감사/사라진 눈물도 감사 나의 영혼 평안해//2)응답하신 기도 감사 거절하신 것 감사/헤쳐나온 풍랑 감사 모든 것 채우시네/아픔과 기쁨도 감사 절망중 위로 감사/측량 못할 은혜 감사 크신 사랑 감사해//

3)길가에 장미꽃 감사 장미꽃 가시도 감사/따스한 따스한 가정 희망 주신 것 감사/기쁨과 슬픔도 감사 하늘 평안을 감사/ 내일의 희망을 감사 영원토록 감사해/ 이것이 진정한 감사생활이다. 주 안에서 자족하며 살자. 3) Thank You for the roses on the roadside, thank You for the thorns of the roses/Thank You for giving me hope for a warm, warm family/Thank You for the joy and sorrow, thank You for the peace of heaven/Thank You for the hope of tomorrow, thank You for eternity/This is a truly thankful life. Let us live self-sufficiently in the Lord.

2)오직 영원한 하나님 나라(천국)를 바라보며 감사한다. 온갖 박해와 가난이 와도 그는 하나님과 말씀, 천국에 대한 확신으로 흔들리지 않았다. 영원한 천국의 감격이 그들을 이기게 한다.

2) Be thankful, looking only to the eternal kingdom of God(heaven). Even when all kinds of persecution & poverty came, he was not shaken by his confidence in God, the Word, &heaven. The thrill of the eternal heaven overcomes them.

3) 예수 믿는 것이 최고의 부요임을 안다. 골 2:3, 예수 안에 모든 부요가 다 들어 있다. 사랑하는 성도 여러분, 우리 모두 주 예수님 안에서 항상 감사하며 풍성한 인생으로 살아가시길 축복한다. 아멘.

3) Know that believing in Jesus is the greatest wealth. Colossians 2:3, all wealth is in Jesus. Loving saints, May we all always be thankful and live abundant lives in the Lord Jesus. Amen.
