Lev 23:4-8, 2Ch.30:20-27, Enjoy the blessings of the Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread

Lev 23:4-8
4"`These are the LORD's appointed feasts, the sacred assemblies you are to proclaim at their appointed times: 5The LORD's Passover begins at twilight on the fourteenth day of the first month. 6On the fifteenth day of that month the LORD's Feast of Unleavened Bread begins; for seven days you must eat bread made without yeast. 7On the first day hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work. 8For seven days present an offering made to the LORD by fire. And on the seventh day hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work.'"

2Ch. 30:20-27
20 And the LORD heard Hezekiah and healed the people. 21The Israelites who were present in Jerusalem celebrated the Feast of Unleavened Bread for seven days with great rejoicing, while the Levites and priests sang to the LORD every day, accompanied by the LORD's instruments of praise.
22Hezekiah spoke encouragingly to all the Levites, who showed good understanding of the service of the LORD. For the seven days they ate their assigned portion and offered fellowship offerings and praised the LORD, the God of their fathers. 23The whole assembly then agreed to celebrate the festival seven more days; so for another seven days they celebrated joyfully. 24Hezekiah king of Judah provided a thousand bulls and seven thousand sheep and goats for the assembly, and the officials provided them with a thousand bulls and ten thousand sheep and goats. A great number of priests consecrated themselves. 25The entire assembly of Judah rejoiced, along with the priests and Levites and all who had assembled from Israel, including the aliens who had come from Israel and those who lived in Judah. 26There was great joy in Jerusalem, for since the days of Solomon son of David king of Israel there had been nothing like this in Jerusalem. 27The priests and the Levites stood to bless the people, and God heard them, for their prayer reached heaven, his holy dwelling place.

* God makes us enjoy the blessings of God through seven Festivals (the Passover, the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Firstfruits, the Pentecost, the Feast of Trumpets, Day of Atonement, the Festival of Tabernacles). Let us know and enjoy the blessings of the Passover and Unleavened Bread.

1. Observe and celebrate the Passover (Lev. 23:5, Ex. 13:10, 12:13, Num. 9:13)
Exodus 12:13, Hymn 265, When I see the blood of the sheep, I will pass over you.
  * Do you keep the Passover and have a feast it in the blood of Jesus?

2. Take the Feast of Unleavened Bread (Lev. 23:6, Ex. 12:8, 13:6)
During the King Hezekiah, people spent to keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread for 14 days adding seven days.

* Are you having a feast of unleavened bread (Jesus without sin)?

3. Present an offering made to the Lord by fire (Lev.23:8, Heb.12:2).

   * Are you in a position to give the Lord all of you as a recipient of everything from the Lord?

4. Enjoy the three blessings of the Passover and the Unleavened Bread.
 1) You are saved and protected in the blood of the sheep (Jesus Christ)
  (Ex. 12:13, Josh.2:18-19).

 2) Eat unleavened bread (Christ) and live as a feast of life (Exodus 13 6,7, 2 Ch. 30:21, 23, 25, 26)

 3) Enjoy the blessing of the firstborn for God's family, the blessing of the army of the LORD for the kingdom of God.
    (Ex. 4:22, 23, 7:4, 12:17,41, Jn 16:33, victory)

 * Do you live by salvation and protection, Christ as your food,  and as the receiver of His all?

Prayer/  Good God, we have a feast for the Passover with the blood of Jesus Christ. We enjoy the unfeigned Feast of the Lord of the innocent. May all of us give life to the Lord who gives us all. Let us be saved, to eat the sinless food of the Lord, and to win as the firstborn of God and the army of the kingdom of God. Even if our lives are tangled and clogged, let us live a life of celebration in Jesus. Amen.
