Acts 3:11-26, Look straight at Jesus Christ

  This is the first miracle of the early church. Peter made a beggar who had been unable to walk since birth walk in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. He got up and went up to the temple, walking, jumping and praising, and those who saw him were amazed and wondered. This miracle is unbelievable and amazing.

1. Pay attention to Jesus Christ (11-12).
  Peter declared. He was healed in the name of Jesus Christ, not through personal power or piety. Both the better and the people should focus on Jesus, not Peter. Praise and give thanks to the Lord and turn your eyes to Him.

2. You killed Jesus, but God raised him (13-16).
 You rejected and killed the Lord of life, but God saved Him (15). The name of Jesus Christ made this man whole, and faith in Jesus (Heb. 11:1) completely healed him (16).

3. You did it without knowing, so repent (17-19).  Receive the gift of a new day.
4. Preach about the coming of Jesus (20-26) 
 1) He is God's servant (13,16) 2) Holy and righteous one (14) 3) Lord of life (15) 4) Christ (Savior) 5) Prophet prophesied by Moses (22-23) - He (Jesus) ) to live. 6) You will be blessed through Abraham’s seed (Jesus) (25, Gn. 12:2-3)

Dear saints, may we all live with our eyes focused on Jesus Christ, repent that we killed Jesus, and become blessed saints who preach about the coming of Jesus Christ. Amen.
