Dan. 12:1-13, Eternal Stars in Heaven
1-13,
1.“At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people—everyone whose name is found written in the book—will be delivered.
2 Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt.
3 Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.
4 But you, Daniel, roll up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and there to increase knowledge.”
5 Then I, Daniel, looked, and there before me stood two others, one on this bank of the river and one on the opposite bank.
6 One of them said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, “How long will it be before these astonishing things are fulfilled?”
7 The man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, lifted his right hand and his left hand toward heaven, and I heard him swear by him who lives forever, saying, “It will be for a time, times and half a time. When the power of the holy people has been finally broken, all these things will be completed.”
8 I heard, but I did not understand. So I asked, “My lord, what will the outcome of all this be?”
9 He replied, “Go your way, Daniel, because the words are rolled up and sealed until the time of the end.
10 Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.
11 “From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days.
12 Blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days.
13 “As for you, go your way till the end. You will rest, and then at the end of the days you will rise to receive your allotted inheritance.”

The earth is running toward the end. We also come to the end of the book of Daniel. Today’s text predicts what will happen in the future. What will happen at the end of the human race? What about saints and unbelievers? how should we live?

1. Eternal life or eternal punishment? (1-2)
“At that time (the end)” there will be a great tribulation, when mankind will be divided in two. Those who believe in Jesus and obey the Word (those who are saved whose names are written in the book of life) will gain eternal life, and unbelievers will suffer eternal contempt (the lake of fire and sulfur in hell).

2. Let's become the eternal stars in heaven (3)
Verse 3, The wise man who leads many to righteousness will shine like the stars for ever and ever. He who leads unbelievers to Jesus is the wise one, and he will shine like a star. Mt. 13:43, Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Whoever has ears, let them hear.

3. Shut up and seal the Word (4,9)
The world is starving for the Word (Amos 8:11-13, “The days are coming,” declares the Sovereign Lord, “when I will send a famine through the land—not a famine of food or a thirst for water, but a famine of hearing the words of the Lord. 12 People will stagger from sea to sea and wander from north to east,
searching for the word of the Lord, but they will not find it. 13 “In that day “the lovely young women and strong young men will faint because of thirst.). However, the saints must keep the word well and seal it pure until the end time. There will be great tribulation that will destroy worship and serve idols (11), but since it is a limited period of three and a half times(3 1/2 years), we must wait patiently until the prophecy is fulfilled. Through this, he becomes a perfect man of God (10, 11:35, Rev.3:5, James 1:3-4, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.
4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything), so he is blessed (12). 2 Tim.4:7-8, Let's run the marathon of faith well until the end.
1 Cor. 15:57,58, let us be victors who strive for the Lord's work without moving.

4. Go (do your duty) and wait for your reward (9,13)
Even if your reality is painful and difficult, if you wait well while fulfilling the assigned task (‘go’) with the hope of a glorious future, resurrection and eternal life, you will receive the reward God has prepared for you. Daniel, be faithful to your mission until the end. You will die, but in the end you will rise (resurrection) and receive a reward that will return to you. This is the conclusion and final exhortation of the book of Daniel. Now that you know about the future, even though the reality is painful and difficult, think of the future of glory, keep the hope of resurrection in your heart and live truthfully. Then the saints will surely be resurrected in the last days and enjoy eternal life. If we do our best in what we have to do, the Lord will reward us with peace. With that faith, he must do his best in the mission and office given to us. Daniel's revelation is the destruction of the kingdoms of the world and the emergence of the kingdom of God. All the kings of the world perish, but it is the appearance of Jesus Christ, the eternal king of righteousness, and the ultimate victory of the saints who belong to him. The victory of Jesus is the victory of the saints. The history of the entire universe belongs to Jesus and to the saints. You go and wait for the end! For you will rest in peace, and in the end you will enjoy your lot (reward). Let us all hold on to God's sovereignty and promises, preach the gospel, and move forward to the end! So, I pray that you lead many people to the right place and live like the eternal stars in the sky. Maranatha! Come, Lord Jesus. Amen.

Dear fellow believers, I pray that you hold on to the Lord, the Sovereign Lord of the whole world, and that promise, lead many people to the right path, and live as eternal stars in Heaven. Amen.
