John 6:5-14      Miracle of Thanksgiving

Scripture.
5. When Jesus looked up and saw a great crowd coming toward him, he said to Philip, "Where shall we buy bread for these people to eat?"
6. He asked this only to test him, for he already had in mind what he was going to do.
7. Philip answered him, "Eight months' wages would not buy enough bread for each one to have a bite!"
8. Another of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, spoke up,
9. "Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go among so many?"
10. Jesus said, "Have the people sit down." There was plenty of grass in that place, and the men sat down, about five thousand of them.
11. Jesus then took the loaves, gave thanks, and distributed to those who were seated as much as they wanted. He did the same with the fish.
12. When they had all had enough to eat, he said to his disciples, "Gather the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be wasted."
13. So they gathered them and filled twelve baskets with the pieces of the five barley loaves left over by those who had eaten.
14. After the people saw the miraculous sign that Jesus did, they began to say, "Surely this is the Prophet who is to come into the world."

* An evangelist sermon,
"Jesus fed  2 people with 5,000 loaves of bread and 2,000 fish."                                  "Last week's rest!"
  Just joking!

The miracle of 5 breads and two fish is very important events. It is the miracle of André's help, the dedication of a boy, and the celebration of Jesus (thanksgiving).

1. Jesus tests us(5,6).

Jesus tests his disciples to confirm their faith and upgrade it. Verse 5, 'Where shall you buy bread and feed two thousand men?'
1) The Mathmatics Teacher, Philip's answer,
"200 denarius (about $ 20,000) is not enough" (7). Impossible! Ten points?

2) A helper, Andre's answer,
"Here is a boy who brought 5 breads and two fish. But it is not enough. (But you can!) (8,9). "60 points?
  Ex.1) Mary of Jn.Ch.
      2) King Hezekiah of Isaiah 37.

2. Jesus, the problem-solver prays (thanksgiving) (11).

Thanks in advance, pre-paid thanks cause miracles. The problem has not been solved yet. But Jesus gives thanks in advance. And give it to you. Even if the problem is not solved, God gives miracles if you give thanks in advance. Amen.

John 11:41,42.
Jesus gave thanks God in advance, before he arose dead Nazarus.

2 Chronicles 20:21,22.
King Jehoshaphat gave thanks and praise before defeating the Ammonites and the Moabite allies. A miracle arose, and the enemies perished, and the nation of Judah wins the war.

3. The small devotion of a boy (5 breads and two small fish of two dollars less than $ 2) brought miracles (9).

Little is the whole food for the boy. The Lord performed miracles through it. Twenty thousand people ate enough, and there were 12 baskets lefts.

What is the answer to the question of Jesus? 'God will solve it' 'God will do it'

Psalm 121:1,2. 'My help is from the LORD, who made heaven and earth,' Amen.

What am I offering now? Do you live with thanking God in advance? Do not look at the problems or people, but only God. Only He will solve your all problems! Amen!
