Eze.46:1-24, Restoration of Worship, Transformation of Life

When worship is restored, life is transformed. Worship is aligning life's direction with God. Chapter 46 shows the restored worship of the restored temple. How should it be restored?

1. Worship in God's way(1-3)
In the new temple, worship is offered in God's way. The times are the Sabbath(4-5, Sunday) and the first day of the new moon(6-7) (1-3). The location is the house of God, the temple. Both the king and the people worship in the inner court, observing the priests leading the worship. The methods are burnt offerings, grain offerings, and thank offerings(11-12). Offer complete devotion, be thankful for the grace of salvation. Jn.4:23-24, Worship in spirit and truth. Give glory to God, not for personal comfort.

2. The lives of worshipers are transformed (9)
Whether they entered through a door, worshipers must exit through the opposite door. "If you entered through the south gate, go out through the north gate. If you entered through the north gate, go out through the south gate. Go out with your body facing forward." This is for order, but it also means a transformation of life. Those who worship, those who have met God, must move forward with a transformed life, not a former self. Rom.12:1-2.

3. Worship with Your Daily Life(13-15)
Priests must offer a burnt offering of lambs every morning(13-15). Become a life where the beginning of each day is offered to God. Live before God every day, correcting the direction of your entire life. Live daily according to worship.

Believers, worship in God's way. May the lives of worshipers be transformed. Worship with your daily life.

Prayer: God, let my worship be sincere. May my life be transformed through worship, so that I may live according to Your will. May I live as a worshiper not only on Sundays but also in my daily life. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
